A separação de Francisca e do ex-companheiro foi o gatilho para este dar início a um ciclo de perseguições, assédio e ameaças. O filme questiona a impotência da mulher sentada “No canto rosa” enquanto vítima de um agressor e de um sistema patriarcal. Como Simone de Beauvoir referiu: “Ninguém nasce mulher, torna-se mulher”.
Francisca’s separation from her ex-partner was the trigger for him to start a cycle of stalking, harassment and threats. The film questions the powerlessness of the woman sitting “in the pink corner” as a victim of an aggressor and a patriarchal system. As Simone de Beauvoir said: “No-one is born a woman, they become one”.

Uma história de família em que os palestinianos não são nem heróis nem vítimas, mas vive vidas normais, na “normalidade” da longa ocupação israelita.
Three unmarried aristocratic Christian sisters from Ramallah have shut themselves in their villa clinging desperately to their former glory, until their orphan niece, Badia, walks into their life and turns their world upside down. A family story in which the Palestinians are neither heroes nor victims, but live normal lives in the “normality” of the Israeli occupation.
