Do Sahara a Melilla, testemunhas contam como escaparam à morte, que levou – literal e simbolicamente – muitos dos seus companheiros de viagem, afogados junto à fronteira. Atravessando o deserto a pé, os viajantes chegam aos enclaves de Ceuta e Melilla, onde ficam encurralados em Marrocos. A mensagem é transmitida pelos que sobreviveram em confrangedores testemunhos de migrantes que falam também pelos seus menos afortunados companheiros, alternando com a perspectiva do Chefe de Guarda Fronteiriça Espanhola.
From the Sahara to Melilla, witnesses recount how they narrowly escaped death, which took away their companions, literally and symbolically, as migrants drowned at the border. Crossing the desert on foot, people reach the enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla where they remain trapped in Morocco. The message is delivered by the survivors, dense and poignant testimonies of migrants speaking for their more unlucky fellow travelers, alternating with the views of the head of the Spanish Civil Guard.
