Os tempos mudaram. Uma misteriosa poeira vermelha trouxe com ela destruição e doença. Apenas as ovelhas permaneceram saudáveis, tornando-se assim um bem precioso, protegidas e alimentadas pelas pessoas que dependem delas para sobreviver. Mas os tempos estão em constante mudança…
Um conto distópico que ganha vida em stop motion.

Times are changing. A mysterious red dust has brought disease and destruction. Only the sheep remain healthy. As they become the only source of food and clothing, humans treat them like gods. But times, they keep changing. A dystopian tale brought to life in stop motion.

Nota de intenções Director's Statement

A ERA DAS OVELHAS é uma reflexão sobre uma sociedade falível, alicerçada num sistema cíclico de abuso de recursos naturais - e também humanos - consumidos sem resguardo e depois descartados. De igual modo pretende ser uma observação de não passividade, presente na subtil mas segura transição do rebanho passivo, carregado às costas e que aceita aquilo que lhes é dado, para um rebanho que finalmente descobre o poder que detém para combater a problemática cíclica.

TIME OF SHEEP is a reflection on a society that keeps failing, built on a system of constant abuse of its natural (and human) resources. As told by the eyes of a sheep, it reflects on the transition of a flock that passively accepts how they become gods just as easily as they are discarded, to finnaly gaining knowledge of the power they have to fight the cycle of abuse.
