Documentário íntimo, passado em Marrocos, sobre os conflitos no interior da família da realizadora. Uma filha procura compreender a recusa do pai, ao longo de muitos anos, de interagir com ela e com a mãe. Através de uma série de conversas reveladoras com membros da família, são evocadas histórias que afloram as tensões de género, as crenças religiosas e as relações pais/filhos. É uma carta de resistência, visual e pessoal, de uma filha para um pai ditatorial.
Intimate documentary, set in Morocco, about the conflicts within the filmmaker’s family. It is a daughter’s quest to understand her father’s refusal, over many years, to interact with her and her mother. Through a series of revealing conversations with family members, stories touching on gender tensions, religious beliefs, and parent/child relationships are evoked. It is a personal visual letter of resistance by a daughter to a dictatorial father.
