Films 2015

The 2015 edition of Olhares do Mediterrâneo features 30 films made by directors of 12 Mediterranean countries – Bosnia, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Lebanon, Malta, Palestine, Portugal, Spain, Turkey and Tunisia. During these days, you will have the pleasure of listening to ten different languages.

The films will be screened in 12 sessions (four sessions of short-films and eight regular features) and all films but the last will be up for competition for the awards of Best Short-Film, Best Film and Public Award. You will be able to enjoy the presence of the directors of 12 of these films who will be at the Festival to present their films, to be available for Q&As and to participate in the various open talks and round-tables.

We’d like to point out three world premières (two Portuguese and one French), duly presented by the directors herselves. The programme will also include three European prémières (of films from Tunisia, Palestine and France), as well as eleven premières in our country. Among the 22 short-films, six are school films.

It will be a weekend full of diversity. We hope you will enjoy it.

All films will be subtitled in Portuguese, and English or French.
