Estudou Cinema e Vídeo na Escola Superior Artística do Porto e possui uma licenciatura em ensino. Coordenou a Oficina de Cinema e Audiovisuais do Centro Cultural do Alto Minho (1981 a 1994) e foi sócio fundador, em 1994, da AO NORTE – Associação de Produção e Animação Audiovisual, ONGD de que é dirigente. Bolseiro do governo francês, frequentou nos Ateliers VARAN, em Paris, dois estágios de cinema directo (iniciação e especialização). Coordena as actividades pela AO NORTE na área do cinema e dos audiovisuais, os Encontros de Cinema de Viana, o MDOC-Festival Internacional de Documentário de Melgaço e o portal na Internet Lugar do Real. Realizou vários documentários em Portugal, Angola e Cabo Verde.
Carlos Viana completed his highereducation in Cinema and Video at the Porto College of Arts and holds a degree in teaching. From 1981 to 1984 he was a coordinator of the Cinema and Audiovisuals Workshop of the Alto Minho Cultural Center. In 1994 he became a founding partner of a non-governmental development organisation AO NORTE – Audiovisual Production and Animation Association. After receiving a grant from the French government, he completed two work placements in direct cinema (initiation and specialisation) at Ateliers VARAN in Paris. He is a coordinator of activities developed by AO NORTE in the field of cinema and audiovisuals, the Viana Film Encounters, the MDOC (Melgaço International Documentary Film Festival) and the Lugar do Real website. Carlos directed several documentaries in Portugal, Angola and Cape Verde.

Licenciada em Cinema – Som, mestrado em Educação Artística. Trabalha desde 1993 em som para cinema e audiovisuais. Paralelamente, tem desenvolvido trabalho em pedagogia para a sensibilização ao cinema, tendo iniciado a sua colaboração com a Associação Cultural Os Filhos de Lumière em 2001. Desde aí, tem vindo sempre a intensificar a sua actividade na área da educação. É docente na ETIC e assistente convidada na ESCS. É afiliada do WFAE (World Forum for Acoustic Ecology).
Mafalda Roma holds a BA in Cinema – Sound and an MA in Artistic Education. Since 1993 she has been working in the field of sound for cinema and media, and developing activities in pedagogy for cinema. In 2001 she started to collaborate with the cultural association Os Filhos de Lumière, and since then she has intensified her activity in the area of education. Mafalda is a professor at Escola Técnica de Comunicação (ETIC) and a visiting lecturer at Escola Superior de Comunicação Social (ESCS). She is a member of the World Forum for Acoustic Ecology (WFAE).

Estudou design no IADE, desenho e fotografia no Ar.Co, vídeo e imagem no Cenjor, Kino-Doc e NOVA-FCSH. Leccionou desenho no Ar.Co. Dedica-se a projectos editoriais de fotografia, design e vídeo na área cultural. Produziu exposições de fotografia e coordenou a galeria Rosa da Rua em Lisboa. Realizou vídeos documentais para o Festival Terras Sem Sombra de 2015 a 2017, os documentários Laboratório Barro, JDZ Lab, Barro…matéria para arte?, Transumância, as curtas Mayday e Viarco Um Ensaio Fotofílmico, exibidas em diversos festivais, e o trabalho Dizei-me agora ó Musas. Expôs desenho, fotografia e vídeo em exposições colectivas.
Miguel Gaspar studied design at IADE, drawing and photography at Ar.Co, and video and image at Cenjor, Kino-Doc and NOVA-FCSH. He taught drawing at Ar.Co. He works on photography, design, video and editorial projects for the cultural sector. He produced photography exhibitions and was coordinator at the gallery Rosa da Rua in Lisbon. He directeddocumentary videos for the Festival Terras Sem Sombra from 2015 to 2017, the documentary films Laboratório Barro, JDZ Lab, Barro… matéria para arte?, Transumância, and the shorts Mayday and Viarco Um Ensaio Fotofílmico, screened at a number of festivals, and the work Dizei-me agora ó Musas. His drawings, photographs and videos have been shown in collective exhibitions.
