Catarina Simão
Artista e Investigadora Artist and Researcher
Catarina Simão é artista e investigadora independente e vive entre Portugal e Moçambique. A sua prática baseia-se em projetos longos de investigação que são apresentados ao público em formatos variados, como filmes, conferências, vídeos e instalações relacionados com a história de Moçambique. Um tema recorrente na obra de Catarina é o Arquivo. Desde 2009 que o trabalho de Catarina é apresentado nacional e internacionalmente, nomeadamente no Museu de Serralves, Manifesta 8, Museu Reina Sofia, MASP, Galerias Municipais de Lisboa, entre outros.
Catarina Simão is an artist and independent researcher living between Portugal and Mozambique. Her practice builds on long-term research projects related to Mozambique’s history which are presented to the public in different formats, such as essay-like displays, screenings, films and videos. A recurring subject in Simão’s work is Archive. Since 2009 Catarina’s work has been presented nationally and internationally, namely at Serralves Museum, Manifesta 8, Reina Sofia Museum, MASP, Galerias Municipais de Lisboa, among others.

Cristina Roldão
Socióloga Sociologist
Cristina Roldão é socióloga, investigadora no CIES-IUL e professora da ESE-IPS. É uma voz activa no debate público e académico sobre o (anti)racismo em Portugal. Tem-se debruçado sobre as desigualdades perante a escola e os processos de exclusão e racismo que tocam os afrodescendentes, e esteve envolvida no debate sobre a recolha de dados étnico-raciais nos Censos.
Cristina Roldão is a sociologist and researcher at CIES-IUL, and professor at ESE-IPS. She is an active voice in the public and academic debate on (anti)racism in Portugal. Cristina has worked on inequalities in schools and on the processes of exclusion and racism against people of African origin. She has been involved in the debate about the collection of ethnic-racial data in the National Census.

Faranaz Keshavjee

Faranaz Keshavjee, antropóloga e psicóloga social, é especialista em estudos islâmicos, membro do conselho consultivo da Academia para o Encontro de Culturas e Religiões da Universidade de Coimbra (APECER-UC), docente universitária, conferencista e media spokesperson.
Faranaz Keshavjee is an anthropologist and social psychologist. She is a specialist in Islamic Studies and a member of the advisory committee of the Academy for the Encounter of Cultures and Religions of the University of Coimbra (APECER-UC). Farnaz is also a university teacher, lecturer and media spokesperson.
