OM2014 – Sonja i Bik | Sonja and the Bull

Vlatka Vorkapić graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts, majoring in television and film directing and from the Faculty of Philosophy, double majoring in comparative literature and Czech language and literature, both in Zagreb. She directs and writes for television, theatre and film. She is the author of a 2 number of television documentaries and series, more than thirty documentary films, and two short films (DRIVING LICENSE, ABSENT-MINDED WINDOW GAZING).

She is the author of two plays, «Cloud-Fairy» and «Judith French». She received the ‘Marin Držić’ award for «Judith French», and she also received numerous awards for her documentary films. SONJA AND THE BULL is her first feature film.
