Um antigo monstro do lago resiste a cair no esquecimento. O seu mito remonta aos antepassados dos arménios e curdos em torno do Lago Van, uma região que testemunhou a limpeza étnica de ambos os povos. Na encruzilhada dos reinos mitológico, político e pessoal, diferentes formas de eliminação são ocultadas. Embora aqui, onde até os monstros são políticos, a topografia tenha a sua própria memória.
An ancient lake monster resists oblivion. Its myth dates back to the ancestors of the Armenians and Kurds living around Lake Van, a region that was the scene of the ethnic cleansing of these two peoples. At the crossroads of the mythological, political and personal realms, different forms of elimination are concealed. But here, where even monsters are political, the topography has its own memory.
