Director’s Statement
To stay true to your roots and fight for the possibility of a better future in a land that deserves the care and development it needs, or to leave in search of something uncertain but seemingly bright? This is the question I ask myself daily, and the one I try to explore through Diorama. This marks the beginning of my creative analysis towards the concept of home, of belonging, and the constant struggle behind feeling the need of leaving everything you’ve been known behind in search of a brighter future, that seems possible to find only if you push yourself as far away from your roots as you can.
