Ezda é a história de Besime, uma jovem mãe yazidi e sobrevivente do genocídio do ISIS. Quando o ISIS invadiu Kocho, a sua família foi assassinada, e ela e os seus filhos foram escravizados. Agora no Canadá, vive num apartamento numa cave que ecoa o tempo que passou nos túneis do ISIS. Através da animação, Ezda dá voz a Besime para contar a sua história com as suas próprias palavras.
Ezda is the story of Besime, a young Yazidi mother and survivor of ISIS’s genocide. When ISIS invaded Kocho, her family was murdered, and she and her sons were enslaved. Now in Canada, she lives in a basement apartment that echoes her time in ISIS tunnels. Through animation, Ezda lets Besime tell her story in her own words.
