A 3ª idade precisa sem dúvida de atenção especial. “Mas como nos sentimos, nós, os de 80 anos?” 80 and Counting é uma reflexão comovente sobre a arte do envelhecimento feita pela realizadora de 82 anos, Lina Chaplin. Focando-se em três extraordinárias mulheres da mesma idade, o filme mostra as lutas e as possibilidades com que a terceira idade se confronta.
By 2025, the number of people in their eighties will be 10 times higher than it is today. There is no doubt, the elders deserve special attention. “But how do we feel, we, the eighty year olds?” asks the director Lina Chaplin, is a poignant reflection on the art of aging, made by the 82 year old director. Focusing on three remarkable women around the same age, the film sets out to show the struggles and possibilities offered by old age.
