Um filme que mostra, igualmente, como a transformação interior pode ter origem no olhar atento e no espírito cuidador de quem nos cerca, levando-nos a enfrentar, não sem algum receio, os impossíveis da vida.
Jury Message Coraline Zorea masterfully films the fear of change by looking into the private and somewhat lonely world of a teenager who since childhood learned to survive in a man’s world but now fears to return to school and abandon a routine that is everything for her. The film shows how inner transformation can originate from the attentive look and caring spirit of those around us, leading us to face the impossible in life despite fear.

Mensagem do Júri Um filme que propõe um testemunho comovente sobre o que é a sensibilidade masculina na sociedade de hoje. O documentário, construído à volta de retratos de clientes de uma barbearia de Marselha, foi realizado com maturidade mas, também, com ternura e uma boa percepção da natureza humana. Vimos, naquele lugar, um refúgio para homens de todas as idades e profissões, que aproveitavam aquele momento para serem vulneráveis sobre o que sentiam, o que os entristecia e aquilo que os fazia felizes.
Jury Message A film that offers a moving testimony about what male sensibility is in today’s society. The documentary, built around portraits of customers in a barbershop in Marseille, was made with maturity but also with tenderness and a good understanding of human nature. In the barbershop we see a refuge for men of all ages and professions who take a moment to be vulnerable, show their feelings, and share what makes them sad and happy.

Mensagem do Júri Em “Mesa Posta”, a violência e a brutalidade de toda uma vida são postas, com requinte, em cima de uma mesa, numa história narrada através da beleza e da graciosidade de objectos do quotidiano. Um filme muito bem contruído cenicamente, e que resulta numa espécie de peça de teatro onde os protagonistas são objectos que dançam conduzidos pela voz da narradora.
Jury Message In “Mesa Posta” the violence and brutality of a lifetime are placed with refinement on the top of a table in a story told through the beauty and grace of everyday objects. It´s a film very well built scenically, which results in a form of a theater play where the protagonists are dancing objects guided by the voice of the narrator.
