Lia tem 16 anos e cresceu entre centros paroquiais, homilias e acampamentos de pós-confirmação. Sente-se em casa com o seu grupo, jovens que vivem a moralidade cristã sem questionar demasiado os dogmas. Tudo muda quando, durante mais um retiro espiritual, Lia descobre pela primeira vez a alegria do prazer, da intimidade e da sexualidade.
Lia is a 16-year-old who has grown up between Sunday school, homilies and post confirmation camps. She feels at home with her group, young people who live Christian morality without questioning dogma too much. Everything changes when, during yet another spiritual retreat, Lia discovers the joy of pleasure, intimacy and sexuality for the first time.

Nota da Realizadora Director’s Statement
The thematic question that moved ‘Lia’ is that of the guilt associated with this way of life., that of small religious communities. The sense of belonging to something sometimes limits one’s own desire. I wondered about the concept of desire in the most tangible sense of the term and I think of sexuality. From the desire to experience carnal intercourse to how beautiful it is to be free to think of it, in adolescence, as a pure, ‘normal’ act.
