Blessing é uma jovem mulher nigeriana. O seu nome de nascença é Irioweniasi, que significa “ninguém é tão forte que consiga puxar o fio da lua e fazê-la cair”, ninguém pode roubar a vida de uma pessoa que é amada. Blessing atravessou meia África durante quase três anos para chegar à Europa. A história dela cruza-se com as histórias de outras mulheres vítimas de tráfico humano e com as vozes dos profissionais que lutam contra este tráfico. Uma encruzilhada de vozes e um projecto de resgate através da narração e das artes visuais.

Blessing is a young Nigerian woman. Her original name is Irioweniasi. It means “no one is so strong as to pull the thread of the moon and take it down”, no one can snatch the life of a human being who is cared for. She has crossed half of Africa in over three years to reach Europe. Blessing’s story is intertwined with the stories of the women who were trafficked like her and the voices of the professionals who fight human trafficking. A coral braid, a project of recovery through story-telling and visual art.
