Latifa é uma mulher berbere que habita as montanhas do Alto-Atlas, cuja principal actividade é fazer tapetes. Numa sociedade fortemente controlada por códigos sociais, Latifa vê no tapete a sua única forma de expressão, recorrendo à decoração dos mesmos para expressar a sua voz interior.
Living in the mountains of the High Atlas, Latifa is a Berber woman who has in the weaving of tapestry her main activity. Heavily constrained by a stifling social code, she has in the carpet her only mean of expressing her interior voice.
