A Kaaba encontra-se no coração da mesquita mais sagrada na Meca e “A minha Kaaba é o HUMANO” é o lema do Alevismo e do Bektashismo, filosofias que colocam a humanidade no centro de todos os valores. Mas o que é feito da humanidade de mais de um milhão de refugiados e migrantes que, desde 2014, têm tentado chegar à Europa de barco, perdendo a vida aos milhares? Este documentário, pondo-nos em presença de seis refugiados em Portugal, força-nos a enfrentar esta questão..
Kaaba is the heart of the most sacred mosque in Mecca and “My Kaaba is HUMAN” is the maxim of Alevism and Bektashism, philosophies that place humanity at the center of all values. But what remains of the humanity of over a million refugees and migrants who since 2014 have tried to reach Europe by boat, losing their lives by the thousands? This documentary, by putting us face to face with six refugees in Portugal, forces this question on us.
