Num campo de refugiados na Alemanha, Nudar começa por nos dar uma vista panorâmica do pequeno quarto que ela partilha com outra mulher. À medida que decorrem as filmagens, Rand decide dar uma câmara a Nudar. Nessa altura, a “refugiada” vira a câmara para a “realizadora”, e o filme muda de rumo, transformando-se num diálogo entre duas mulheres, que discutem as suas ambições e os desafios da adaptação a uma sociedade nova e desconhecida.
In a refugee camp in Germany, Nudar gives us a tour of the small room she shares with another woman. As the filming of the documentary unfolds, Rand decides to give Nudar a camera. At this point the “refugee” turns the camera on the “director”, and the film changes course, turning into a dialogue between two women, who discuss their ambitions and the challenges of acclimating to a new, unfamiliar society.
