In this masterclass, we will discuss our story with Tuk-Tuk from the birth of the idea, budgeting, find the right co-producers, find the right cast, obstacles, creative production, post production, marketing and PR, distributions, festivals, wins and becoming OSCARS Qualified!

Aos 14 anos, Kheidr iniciou a sua carreira como artista de storyboard e foi estudar design gráfico. Em 2007, mudou de ideias e mergulhou no curso de Cinema na New York Film Academy. Dedicou a sua carreira a alterar a perspectiva da indústria relativamente às produções de baixo orçamento, criando arte e designs de alta qualidade. Fundou uma produtora na qual supervisiona, executa e cria uma vasta carteira de projectos que envolvem realização, direcção de fotografia, montagem, escrita de argumento, produção executiva, fotografia e composição musical. 

At the age of 14 Kheidr kick started his career as a storyboard artist and carved his way into graphic design. In 2007 Kheidr decided to shift gears and delved into studying film making at the New York film academy. He dedicated his career to shifting the industry’s perspective on limited budget productions by creating top notch quality artwork and designs. He established his own production house overlooking execut-ing and creating a vast number of projects which involved film directing cinematography script writing executive production photography and music composing..

SHERINE ALAA
PRODUTORA EXECUTIVA EXECUTIVE PRODUCER TUK TUK

Sherine Alaa é uma experiente directora de Recursos Humanos com uma enorme paixão por cinema e arte. Esta paixão levou-a a estudar Cinema e Tteatro na Universidade Americana do Cairo. Sherine decidiu apanhar boleia da curta “Tuk Tuk” e começar assim a palmilhar os primeiros quilómetros da sua incursão neste maravilhoso mundo do cinema.

Sherine Alaa is a seasoned Business Human Resources Director with a tremendous passion for the film industry and arts. This passion was nurtured through her studies of film making and theatre throughout her college years at the American University of Cairo. Sherine decided to hitchhike a “Tuktuk short film” and start the first miles of her journey into this magical world of filmmaking.
