Nota da Realizadora Director Statement
Years ago I would walk past a jasmine bush on my way home at night time. The way this simple natural phenomenon: the intensified perfume of the jasmine bush at sundown interrupted my thoughts or mood after whatever activity I was engaged in served as a form of sensory checkpoint that affirmed my existence and my connection with the cosmos at that very moment. I can not help but compare this feeling to falling in love, when one’s thoughts are constantly consumed by the other that in return heightens one’s present moment. It was natural for me to articulate the feeling the scent of the jasmine bush gave me in the same way I articulate love: an unexpected and alien feeling that manages to ground and affirm one’s self.
