Casablanca. A jovem cineasta Asmae El Moudir tenta desvendar as mentiras que correm na sua família. Usando uma maqueta do seu bairro de infância e bonecos de cada um dos seus familiares, reencena a sua própria história. É então que as feridas de todo um povo emergem e a história esquecida dos Motins do Pão de 1981 é revelada.
Casablanca. Young filmmaker Asmae El Moudir tries to unravel the lies that run in her family. Using a model of her childhood neighbourhood and figurines of each of her relatives, she re-enacts her own history. It is then that the wounds of an entire people emerge and the forgotten history of the 1981 Bread Riots is revealed.
